Family History

The Fatehpuria (Rajgarhia) family is the lineage of Ganpat Rai ji Rajgarhia. The original home of this family is Rajgarh (Bikaner State). This family is considered extremely ancient, distinguished and honourable.

Initially, the family resided in Fatehpur. Even then, the family was counted among the religious, social and prestigious people. About 200 years ago, Seth Kishnadas ji came from Fatehpur to Rajgarh and settled there permanently.

Since then, their descendants have been residing in Rajgarh. The family became famous in Rajgarh by the name Fatehpuriya. The family was awarded the title of "Chaudhary" by the Bikaner State.

The havelis, wells, johads, dharamshalas and temples built by the family still bear witness to their glorious history. Special honours like gold kada, nagada, flag and chawar were bestowed by the Bikaner Darbar.
